Trusty Bolos are their tools

Deflated in every way

Ground Breaking

The only tractor around owned by Dr. Pami. Should have used a karabaw

Ground Breaking

Thursday was the big day to start plowing at the farm. The single adults came to perform a service of clearing away sucker trees growing in the way of the plow. They worked hard in the hot sun then had a picnic for the rest of their activity.
It was so exciting, here came the tractor. The plow was lowered and he started to plow. Then all of a sudden all we could hear was a great hissing sound. The tractor had gone beyond the mark and ran across a hidden rebar protruding from a concrete footing. We were sick, the back tire had been slashed and the project came to a sudden halt.

Internet Cafe

Epic Week

Saturday we packed all of our belongings and lived out of boxes so we would be ready to move on Monday June first. We rented a multicab to move the big things and everything else fit into our van. I took a picture of them putting our bed and couch on top of the multicab but erased it from the camera by mistake.
When we got to Barugo the movers helped us get the heavy things up the stairs and it didn't take long to bring the rest and to get settled.
Our landlord was still getting the water hooked up so we went into Carigara for the day. Well we have water but after a week the bathroom is still in a mess. We couldn't figure out why the floor was always wet. I did some laundry and a bunch of water gushed out from the shower onto the bathroom floor. We found they had made a hole in the retaining wall of the shower so if the toilet flooded over it would drain into the shower. They didn't think about it draining the other way and every time we showered the water would go onto the bathroom floor.
We are not able to get internet in Barugo so no more SKYPE. We have found an internet cafe where we have gone a couple of times to read e-mails but once we had a brown out and had to leave before finishing and another time my computer kept freezing up. It is a dark noisy place where there are a lot of young people playing computer games. Sorry we haven't been able to write.
