Studying Tagalog

I can't believe we only have one week before we enter the MTC. We have been studying the language of Tagalog for the last three months. We study for three hours per day and a tutor calls us three times per week and talks to us for one hour to see how we are doing and to give us assignments for our next session. This picture is of Abe and I listening to an audio file our teacher sends us so we can hear what the language should sound like. The picture to the left shows us using flash cards we use to help us memorize the words.

We gave our Farewell talks in church last Sunday,
January 11th 2009. We talked about faith and bore Listening to Audio Files
our testimonies in Tagalog. People were very
nice to us. Most of our family were there to hear
us; evan Richard and Shauna and Myrna and Keith came. They were on their way to California for a little get away together.
